Phenethylammonium bromide or phenylethylammonium bromide (PEABr; CAS No: 53916-94-2) is a precursor used in the preparation of perovskite-based optoelectronic devices. PEABr was added in combination with n-BABr to prepare a blue-emitting n=2 Ruddlesden-Popper halide perovskite LED showing improved stability and brighter light emission (Leung et al., 2020). The incorporation of Phenethylammonium bromide in formamidinium lead bromide perovskite improved the crystal orientation of quasi-2D perovskite, resulting in a highly performing non-volatile flash photomemory device (Chao et al., 2022).
Greatcell Solar Materials’ Phenethylammonium bromide is of the highest purity affording consistent results and superior performance.
