n-Dodecylammonium iodide (CAS Number: 34099-97-3) is an additive used in the synthesis of perovskite-based solar cells. Ruddlesden–Popper halide perovskites exhibiting excellent optical quality were prepared using a precursor solution containing n-dodecylammonium iodide and methylammonium iodide (Cinquino et al., 2021).
