The organic salt Imidazolium bromide (ImBr; CAS 101023-55-6) is used as a perovskite precursor in the preparation of perovskite optoelectronic devices. Imidazolium bromide was used in combination with guanidinium bromide to form a low-dimensional perovskite phase at the n-interface boosting the open-circuit voltage (Caprioglio et al., 2023).
